Chris Squire (Yes bassist) has died

Postby Apex » Fri Jul 10, 2015 6:49 am

Chris Squire, bassist and a founding member of Yes in 1968, has died aged 67 from leukemia.

from ABC News:
Squire was born on March 4, 1948, in London. He was the only member to play on all of Yes' albums, and he co-founded the band with its former lead singer, Jon Anderson. The group released its self-titled debut album in 1969.

RIP Chris. Say hello to fellow bassists Jack Bruce (Cream) and Glenn Cornick (Jethro Tull) and any other rockers I can't think of right now.

The jam sessions on Friday night up there must be brilliant.
