"Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" explains my total fascination with San Francisco, and the whole of California, since the heady days of my; "Flight Simulator Unlimited II"...and followed from my FS '98 through to my FSX...and beyond!!

I spent a sad rainy night in Madison, Wisconsin waiting to hear Otis Redding in Concert, when his plane went down in Lake Mendota. It was the first of many sad and rainy nights! Since then, I've played the song with the title and lyrics changed to "Singin' on the Dock of the Bay"

I cried when I saw that rusty old Dobro being played so well too.
