I'm no spring chicken, but surely these geezers hitting the road again will be called The Early Bird Special tour, sponsored by Depends and Viagra. But what the heck. Isn't Jagger dating a 28-year-old ballerina these days? Amazing.

Keith Richards:

He's pretty good on a Gee-Tar though!
(Fender Telecaster).

Bless his little cotton socks!

He's also quite good at falling out of trees... ;) ...!

I'll tell you what though, age for age, those Lads have got a lot more more energy than I have... ;) ...!

Keith Richards really is a good guitarist. And one other thing here: In 1966, his then girlfriend, Linda Keith, insisted that he accompany her to some club in Greenwich Village, NYC, ("There's this guitarist I think you oughta see"), but he refused to go. So she got hold of Chas Chandler, ex-bassist for the Animals, who happened to be in town, Chandler had by then been producing rock acts, he went, and the rest is super-rock history. That guitarist was Jimi Hendrix. Linda Keith was shown in an interview in a PBS Hendrix documentary some time ago, very smart woman, I'd say. She sure knew what she saw back then.

OK then, so if they had gotten married and Linda kept her name, would her married name then have been Linda Keith-Richards? Ten beers if you get this one right. Hmm, one beer sounds good right now. Cheers.

Seen them. 1975 Gator Bowl. The tickets weren't anywhere near $300.

You know, this used to be a helluva good country. I don't understand what's gone wrong with it. - George Hanson, 1969

A bit earlier, and you could have got in to see The Stones for free...got "high", and possibly killed!......>>>

A familiar area for me in my Flight Sims. The Altamont Stadium can still be seen on Google Sat Maps!
(I have added it to my FSX Scenery!)
Between Livermore [KLVK] and Tracy [KTCY].

Lots of strange things happened in 1969!.... :o ...!

Same here... saw them in '81 at Folsom Field in Boulder, and in '94 at Mile High Stadium in Denver.

I don't think I paid more than $50 for Field GA seating each time!
