Articles do not say exactly what happened. The wreckage looks high speed. Very sad and unfortunate. He wasn't driving either.

I take my driving very seriously. Fast when I can, slow when I have to. For me, fast is not much over any given speed limit anyway.

R.I.P. Paul Walker.

"Drive carefully, the life you save may be your own." Or, in this case, your passenger's.

It takes a lot to drive carefully, it takes but a little to have an accident.

It may be a bit harsh, but he willingly got into a car that was being driven around public streets in the same manner that they are driven in the Fast and Furious films. Ending in tears is generally what happens in these situations......and it did.......................

Amazing how a moment of fun, can turn into utter tragedy in the blink of an eye !!

as light weight as that car was, and that much Horsepower, imagine when he grabbed 3rd gear it just went outta control and hit that light pole and tree.

Sadd deal for everyone, he'll join the ranks of James Dean and Jane Mansfield and Tyrone Malone, all killed in weird car crashes at a fairly young age.

Another reason I went ahead and got that 6cyl. in my 2011 Dodge Challenger SE, to keep me out of Trouble and better fuel mileage !

I've had all the fast sports cars I want in my life

1966 Corvette Roadster 427 / 4 speed

1968 SS Camaro 350 LT-1 / 4 Speed

1968 SS Chevelle 396 Big Block / Automatic

1971 Olds Cutlass Supreme 350 Rocket Motor / Automatic

2011 Dodge Challenger SE 6 cylinder / Automatic

Had enough of goin fast in my younger years, well back when Gas was a lot cheaper than it is today and Oil too !!

Geshhhh, have seen the price for a quart of oil lately ??????

I remember when a Quart was $65 Cents a Quart for oil, not anymore !

Nowdays, I just use Beer for Oil :D :D

Yeah, I seen the blowup on one of your other posts.

It looks like that capitan had a real bad day!

(( I apologize for the off topic remarks. ))

I think it sucks that Paul Walker passed away. And so young!
He was a really good guy. I saw the interview on T.V. with his father, very touching man. Sad!
