Time to give up?

Well I'm glad i took on the advice and kept going when i did. In the space of 3 weeks with Guitar Coach I've learned more than i did in 5 months with the Metallica book!
I can now play a few solo's, power chords and the whole rhythm section to Bush - Swallowed.
I'm now learning rhythm to Placebo - Nancy Boy, and it looks like its going well
Thanks so much for the encouragment everyone! its actually fun to play this axe now
