Wow... nice gimmick for when you are playing basic quarter-time beats.  The best I could do when I played drums was to look over my shoulder and sort of drool. 

He's great, though- very solid groove despite all the shenanigans.

Thee drummer is definately a showman but, as already pointed out, he is just keeping basic time.
