New discoveries in Progrock and Blues...

Postby Omag 2.0 » Sat Apr 04, 2009 4:49 am

Hi all,

beeing active as a concert photographer gives me the opportunity to speak with other people in the business and lately I've made some great discoveries I'd like to share with whom is intersted...

First, Progrock...

Never heared of that type of music, but it's a newer style of the music the bands like Pink Floyd used to bring...

Mostly Autumn captured my heart very quickly... it's dreamy, slow, long music, but sooo rich and amzingly layered. Ideal to dream away on a relaxing evening...

Mostly Autumn - Evergreen

Mostly Autumn - Fading colours

I'd love to be able to shoot a concert of these guys, but they don't come to Belgium any time soon...

Second band... Gazpacho... no, not the spannish cold soup...

Rather this: Gazpacho - Night

Still learning to get to know the band...

Second style... The blues...

All time favorite up till now... Miss Ana Popovic... man, she's good with that guitar! Infuenced by Steve Ray Vaughn  :o

Ana Popovic - Solo from Navajo Moon

Ana Popovic - My man

And last, Miss Joanne Shaw Taylor... Her song Going home is AMAZING!!!

So, maybe you guys might like any of these artists too... get dazzled... :-)
