Maiden at Twickenham '08!

Anyone from SimV go to Iron Maiden at Twickenham?
I went, and was about 10m from the stafe getting chucked around during the first 2 or 3 songs!  Epic gig and Iron Maiden were absolutely brilliant, pulling out all of the stops with pyrotechnics and Bruce's vocals were top-notch!
No photos as yet, but when/if i get them, i will post them.
Avenged Sevenfold were terrible, Within Temptation were good and Lauren Harris was hot.
Overall, fantastic gig.  Some are even saying that Twickenham was the best gig Maiden have EVER done.  I wouldnt disagree!

My fav band of all time, them and Judas Priest.
Sounds like you had a great time wish I was there but I had work commitments had to do it due to the credit crunch and all things are tight.
I'm on my 19th Maiden gig at the moment that would have been the big 20!! darn . They had the powerslave eddie sphynx there that opened up to reveal the eddie mummy no other gig world wide had that except Twickenham.......DOUBLE DARN!!!! would loved to have seen that.

19 times seeing Maiden....christ!  My fav band ever too, you missed a superb gig, gig doesn't really justify it to be honest!  It was mammoth, you could say.
The giant Eddie was awesome....EDDIE!!!!!!
They are doing a new album after their current world tour, then they will tour to support the new album.  So they probably won't be in the UK again touring until 09.  Twickenham was their only UK gig of the tour so they made it special!
Hopefully they will release this one on DVD, it is a must have!
