The Godfather...

Postby Wing Nut » Sun Jan 06, 2008 4:19 am

Watched it again tonight for the first time in a long while.  Still the second best movie ever... ;D

Don Corleone: I knew Santino was going to have to go through all this and Fredo... well, Fredo was... But I never wanted this for you. I work my whole life, I don't apologize to take care of my family. And I refused to be a fool dancing on the strings held by all of those big shots. I don't apologize for that. That's my life. But I always thought that when it was your time that you would be the one to hold the strings. Senator Corleone. Governor Corleone. Something.

Your loss dude...  When you DO finally see it, do yourself a favor and make sure it's on a large plasma in Hi-Def.  Also put the lights out and don't get up even to take a leak, because you WILL miss something important.  Besides, seeing Moe Green get in right in the eye just isn't the same on a 25' TV with kids screaming at each other behind you...  ;)

"Leave the gun.  Take the Canolli..."  :D

I've never seen the series either. I've wanted to, but I never really got around to it...
