Little Feat...

I was just going back and intentionally listening to stuff I haven't played for years, and I realized that they may be one of the most under-appreciated bands in the history of Rock & Roll.  Most certainly one that should be listened to (or be seen) live instead of hearing their studio recordings, if possible.  Even with having recruited a female lead singer to replace the uber-genius Lowell George, they still are a pleasant band to listen too.

Anyone looking for a place to enter the Little Feat Arena, you may want to start with 'Hoy-Hoy, Let It Roll, or Waiting for Columbus' to get a decent over-view of their sound.  

Any other Little Feat fans out there?

To me good music ended around 1978 with some hopeful spurts along the way!!

lol, I've never heard of them, but I'm also more a fan of the older music than the new stuff as well

They were terrific as long as Lowell was around... since then? Pleasant, yes, but not the same...  :'(

I've never understood how the original version of that appealed to ANYONE and I drive a truck!  The Linda Ronstadt version is much better...
