Linkin Park

Postby flyboy 28 » Fri Dec 30, 2005 10:33 am

So I've only heard one song by Linkin Park and that is "Numb". So my question is do all of their songs sound the same, as the same chord progression, 12-measure beats then goes into a chorus?

Just wondering. :P I like this one song, but if all of their songs sound the same then I won't look more into it..

in my opinion "Numb" is one of the best songs that they've done,

the only album of theres that i don't currently own (and don't want to) is Re-animation, where they remixed alot of there songs,

Try listening to "Carousel" from there Hybrid Theory E.P, much earlier than most of there stuff, but its a great song.

Yeah, all pretty similar although they have many good songs... I personally have Hybrid Theory and Meteora but I really like their stuff.  :)

All the songs are the same, maybe a few words switched around ;D
But that is to be expected from bands now days no talent means carbon copy songs/albums , basically a fad for the teens.

Well, if you mean by having the same songs for each album, then yes they are same. In terms of tempo and repetitions for each song, then no they are different.

If they are repeating the songs for each album, then that usually mean that they have run out of ideas. ::)

IMO, I like Linkin Park.

Breaking the Habit is ok. But hey, I'm 46 and have Breaking Benjamins, Nickleback, LP, Saliva, Chemical Brothers, Train, Yellowcard, and a lot of Techno and Trance CDs in my car. ;D Probably bubblegum rock to most of you younger guys. ;D

i like pretty much everything that was meteora, hybrid theory, and reanimation. i don't have the LP/Jay-Z remix, and had no intentions of getting it.

otherwise they are kick-@$$!!
