HELP ME IDENTIFY MY "NEW" GUITAR PLEASE!!!

Postby Threadkiller » Tue Sep 13, 2005 4:07 pm

hi guys

i just bought off a friend a very very old solid body electric. all he knows is that it was his uncle's, and he bought it in the early 70's, new. so yeah, but id like to know more. i cant seem to find anyinfo about it, and even the name is unfamiliar. it kinda looks like a mosrite, the kind Johnny Ramone used, it is red-ish, kind of a sunburst finish, the pickguard is like dark red but not solid, with like specs and stuff of diferent shades. its got 2 pickups and is very light. the neck i think is maple but im not too sure and all it says on the head is "Saturn" its got 2 switches to control the pickups, a tone and a volume knob. i would like to know the manufacturer and model name and how old it really is. ;D

any help appreciated. and no, i cannot post pix cuz i dont have a digicam or anything of the sort  :-X :-[

happy flyin!
