quick pic...

Postby Jared » Tue Dec 09, 2003 12:17 pm

Hey all! Here's a picture of MY favorite instrument! My Alvarez twelve string...only problem I have so far is it isn't elctrified so I can't use it to play too many places without having to set up a whole audio system/mic to go with it... :( Maybe one of these days I will change that :-)

and Maybe someday I will win the lottery and graduate and everything else that I want to do too!

Hi Jared...!
If it is fitted with all STEEL, (metal), strings you can fit a magnetic pick-up in the sound hole to plug into an amplifier.
(This senses the vibrations of the strings and produces electricity in the pick-up, to feed an amplifier)... 8)...!

(It doesn't work on a classical guitar fitted with NYLON strings)... ;)..!

I have both types... ;D...!

Cheers Mate...!

Paul.

I'd guess and say about twice as long as a 6-string.
