I've had many hours of fun trying to teach American friends that Norfolk isn't pronounced Nor-f*ck inspite of the fact that is more accurate ;D ;D ;D

I knew my bloodline came from close to London. The map proves it. I have to have a word with my ancestors about that.

I still don't understand the difference between UK, England, etc. Y'all need to settle your differences and become one country so I don't get anymore headaches.

In some way that's not so different from here (England, Wales, etc. are states); technically, the U.S. is a union of many little (well, various-sized) state and territorial countries, most with their own counties (equivalent to shires, thus we also have sheriffs).
