i don't realy know where to put this but...(god i use ... alot... )
anyone who heard this before please stay quiet.

a man lived on the tenth floor of a building.
every day he took the lift down to ground level.
when he came back he took the elevator to the 8th floor and walked 2 stairs up towards his room.

why didn't he go to the tenth floor instead of the eight?

Something about 2 steps being a negligable distance for an elevator to travel? Just a guess

Hey Jetprop, the answer is he's a midget. Not sure if I can say that in this PC obsessed world. But he's too short to press the number 10 button when it's on the ground floor.
