At the airport for a business trip, I settled down to wait for the boarding announcement at Gate 35.

Then I heard the voice on the public address system saying,

lol...so that's why they change gates all the time...make everyone burn a few calories before boarding to lighten the load ;D

Don't think I cared for the LAX fitness program, they flip flopped gates between our Malaysia 747 and a Cathay 747 both to depart around the same time, from the farthest gates at opposite ends of Tom Bradley terminal, but never announced the change, so everyone at either gate just assumed there was an issue with the aircraft and the other airline was substituting, cabin crews waiting had no idea either, both boards still showed our flight numbers on those gates.
