Posted: Thu Jun 17, 2010 1:04 pmYou know, it might be more than just a joke. With today's technology, why couldn't we come up with something similar that would soak up just oil, and not water? In a much larger size of course.

I think they are going to have to put a filter on the bed of the Gulf of Mexico to strain the oil, then pull the plug out, and empty the clean water, temporarily, into the Great Lakes...

Would also solve the shortage of Fish, at the same time!
