LMAO, what were they thinking when they came up with that name. I'm picturing a board meeting and someone suggests "Rusty Crack", but everyone else thinks its too obscene and then they argue about it for hours until they settle on "Sandy Balls".

The name is from 'Sandyballas' as there were sand and gravel dome outcrops there many years ago. This was about as long back as Henry VII.

I read the brochure. It reminded me of Center Parcs.

So my wife watches Ellen Degeneres.  They were just making fun if the name..
