Okay students, what's something that's happeninng with a substitute teacher that's really funny. I have a few.

Last week, I had a substitute for one of my classes and he's handing out papers. When he gives one to my friend, my friend says:

"Oh, thanks Ms. Kitchen."

(In the most serious voice he could): "Wait a minute, You're not Ms. Kitchen!"

The sub looks totally confused at this point.

(In the most serious and angry voice he could): "What did you do with MS. Kitchen!?!?!?! Where is she!!!!????"

The sub actually responded: "Oh don't worry, she's alright."

We have a sub who has been through almost every war since 1920.  So when my class gets him we always get him talking about the wars.  So one day we ask him about when he was stationed in Germany, when some one shouts out

"HOWS THE APPLESAUCE?"

He talked about applesauce for the rest of the class and the next day brougth some in for the kid who said it.  It was really weird ;D

We had a Substitute who would insist on everyone pushing their chairs to the side of the room, sitting on the floor, and begin meditating.

Odd fellow there...

Had a one that wanted us to do quilting for the day...then two...then three...you get the picture?  One girl told the principal and she was replaced for the rest of the month the permanent teacher was out.

When I was in high school, we had a sub for science class once. He was down right creepy, when he pronounced the letter "S" it made a whistling sound and he NEVER stopped talking. He would even continue talking when he picked up someones notebook out of the blue and started flipping through the pages like he was looking for something. To top it all off, he looked like a pirate. The bald kind of pirate with a giant mustache. :-[

That sounds very much like the sub-teacher that arrived out of the blue in school one dark day, after all who could forget the moustache she had.  ;) ;)

A few weeks ago I had a sub that was "deathly allergic to chalk" and couldn't get too close to the board. She couldn't understand why the school still has chalk boards.  ::)

She was exactly like Mort from Family Guy.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

8-)

The one time I had to substitute we were 30 mins into a 45 min lesson before one of the students put his hand up and explained they didn't speak English as they were a German class :-[ ;D
