Study these 3 photos closely then read the message at the bottom. It may explain a lot of things (as if you didn't already know).

This is where you call when you have a technical problem with your computer, internet or credit card.

To think, some people in the US gripe about telephone poles and power lines.....lmao.

I'd bet that every electrical code on the planet is being broken in those pictures....lmao.

I was watching on a US news program about people pissing and moaning about "personal" electric wind generators (windmills), saying they were an "Eye sore". Wonder what those people would think if all their power poles looked like the ones in the pictures.... :-/

;)

Their technicians are obviously world class when it comes to fault finding and so I am not surprised that a lot of companies outsource to such talented peole.

Wow! That last one left me speechless!

We have similar stuff in downtown Lima... well like half the cables :P...

...and it's pretty scary to walk under those things!

Yea, it must be a real hoot to walk down the street in these towns in India when there are monsoons or thunderstorms going on.... ;)

Hello Chums...

Every time I look at a typical Photograph of a typical location in the U.S. I am ALWAYS amazed at the preponderance of overhead cables; High Voltage Power distribution lines, Domestic Electricity Poles and Transformers and cables, Telephone poles and cables, etc, invading the skyline, where ever we look!

Many picturesque scenes are spoilt by all the Poles and Cables!

Over here, in Great Britain, the majority of such cables and equipment are located/buried underground, and out of sight, out of mind....invisible!.. :)...!

Take Tornado Valley, as a typical example. All the power lines, etc, are located overhead, and always liable to damage due to violent Storms, and suffer expensive power outages, resulting in enormous cost to repair and get back on-line again!

Why is not this equipment protected at ground, and underground
