Animals do drink water and it doesn't matter to them in what manner it comes, as long as they get it.

I've seen my fair share of dogs drinking out of toilets. Then they always want to lick your face afterwards....ewwww......lmao

I've also seen many an animal drink out of a garden hose. Including porch monkeys, rug rats and ankle biters....
