I concur Esselbach.

It would not kill 'u' to type two extra letters and take the extra time to make sure that your message is coherent. It isn't a good example for the new generation to follow if we allow such deliberate error making in public.

Because it's sooo much cooler to write 'HAX!1' instead of 'hacks'. Hacks just wouldn't be the same as our beloved HAX.

Hacks being lame, kids see that spelling things with Xs and Zs is cool like
"Can I have a Cheeseburger" Is funny.
But
"Can I haz A cheezeburgers?" Is funnier.

But spelling lot's of things with numbers is just really lame

Like: The Leet Hacker

They say: Teh 1337 4aX0r

1 = T 3 = E 7 = T and 4 = H

And Leet is also short for elite

And 'teh' is the cool lame way to spell 'The'

And this is coming from the 13 year old online fps player

Leet spelling is for dumb people who can't be bothered to learn correct spelling...
