Holy Burial Dilemma
Posted: Sun Apr 26, 2009 5:17 pmA man went on a vacation to Jerusalem with his ever-nagging wife and the wife died while there. He was informed by the undertaker that transporting her body home would cost $5,000 but a local burial in the Holy Land would only cost him $200.
After a bit of thought, the man said, "I'd best send her home."
"Most people would be glad for the opportunity to have a Holy Land burial, let alone have to spend an extra $5,000 for transport elsewhere. Are you sure?"
"Well," the man mused, "a long time ago you had a man who died and was buried here, then he rose from the dead three days later... I just can't take the chance."
