Be kinda difficult to lug one of these around in combat...

It's not so comfortable carrying around an extra load of your particular ammo, either.

What caliber, and is it belt fed?

The caliber may vary per individual and, according to the picture, it seems the main round is stored in the stock butt and loaded by hand.
