For a couple of weeks now, I've been trying to find a certain couple of entries on this board.

You're going to have to be more specific about the ATC jokes. There are probably hundreds floating around the internet....



But for the maintenance....




Never let it be said that ground crews and engineers lack a sense of humor. Here are some logged maintenance complaints by pilots and the corrective action recorded by mechanics. P stands for the problem the pilots entered in the log, and S stands for the corrective action taken by the mechanics.

P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.

S: Almost replaced left inside main tire


P: Test flight OK, except autoland very rough.

S: Autoland not installed on this aircraft.


P: Something loose in cockpit.

Damn!  Beat me to the edit!

Love the post though, these never get old, even my non-aviation friends get a kick out of them.
