Some fails from Staiduk...

'Lo!

I thought I'd jump on the 'Fail' bandwagon for a moment. I've got an 'oops' list of pics and vids I've collected over time; so I edited a couple up that I haven't seen on Failblog and thought I'd put them up here.

Here we go...

Done it - except in an APC rather than a tank. The tank's one advantage: when it goes over, the main gun acts like a kickstand. An M-113 goes right over - and you've got 8 seriously pissed-off fellow Infanteers crawling out the back doors wanting to have a nice long chat with you... ;D

Lol - check out the boat's name. Kinda appropriate...

Side note: This reminds me of a story. Way back in '86 I got a weekend leave in Digby, Nova Scotia shortly after passing Army Basic Training. While wandering the tiny town in an alcoholic haze at around midnight; I could hear the bell-bouys out in the Bay of Fundy and a lone speedboat tearing around in the darkness. The boater must've been even drunker than me... 'cause it sounded like this: booong....boooong (the soft, haunting tolling of the bell-bouys rocking in the waves.) "RRRROOWWRRR!" (The sound of an outboard motor). booong....boooong RRRROOWWRRR! booong....boooong...BONG!!!!!

That musta hurt... ;D

OK, you KNOW what's going through this guy's head right now... ;D

I love how someone took the time to tie the boat to the marker.

lol, love the first one. Can I say 'DAT' here....? ;D

I watched a bradley roll over onto it's top next to my vehicle one night, and when our medic was pulling them out, one of the soldiers inside was freaking out, while another was slapping him silly. My medic wanted to slap both of them, but refrained.... ;D

As for M-113s, I hate those things. Death traps if you ask me. We were once out in the field, and an M113 rolled over, caught on fire, and a couple soldiers who were pinned down inside were killed. It wasn't a good day watching it burn in the distance while wondering if it was our guys
