In trying to locate a closer view of the Civil War Air Plane story from H's post, I came across these and had to post them-

The 4th one is among those my uncle e-mailed me (along with the other six I've already posted).
I'll check to see if the original Civil War px was originally larger (the version I incorporated was slightly smaller and I enlargesd it to fit). I thought, perhaps, it was about other than the U.S. Civil War (but I haven't seen a Spanish newsprint of it).

The stupidity of that police composite is beyond my ability to comprehend! Especially considering the line of people that it took to get it published. You first have a supposed professional police sketch artist drawing a useless sketch. Then a police department stupid enough to release it and a newspaper stupid enough to publish it. This could only happen in Boston....lmao
