You are doomed.

Where I am Houghton is a vineyard making some very good wines.

I don't have to go passed the end of earth to get wine I just have to go to work.

I work in a pub ;D ;D

Cheers,

Col.

Better hope there's a turn around. Wouldn't want to fall off into the abyss. I hear it's a right nasty place to be.

I believe that's on US-41.  My hometown is about a 2hr drive from Houghton/Hancock (two cities sharing a border)

BEAUTIFUL area up there, and they get absolutely slammed with snow every year.  It's on the Keeweenaw Penninsula, and is known for it's copper mines.

I could see it now...."Well I live just past the End of the Earth." ;D

We have a large dam in our town, so we give some strange directions...
Well you take the Dam road, across the Dam bridge, until you come to the Dam lane... :P

Same here....I went to the dam, to get some dam water, but the dam man wouldnt give me the dam water, so i told the dam man to keep his dam water.

Not really -- just nowhere to go, nothing to do, nothing to see. It probably gets the most visitors around this time of year since, I expect, most travel to there is in the fall.

I would'nt put a lot a lot of faith in that sign. I have a 3' x 4' Rand Mcnally world map right next to me and I can clearly see that all 4 sides of the earth are water.  ;D ;D
