I like to use that old Three Stooges line that Curly would say, "I'm trying to think, but nothings happening!" That's my motto and the older I get the more it fits.

I also have an assortment of well practiced dumbass looks that my wife knows quite well and she can disypher fairly well. She'll look at me and say, "Brain fart?" "Senior Moment?" and her favorite, "Ya need a kick in the butt to get the ole brain back into gear?"  :-/

She did kick me in the butt once and I farted. She said w/o missing a beat, "Yep, just what I suspected, your brain was vapor locked."  :D

I tell her I'm going crazy and she tells me it will be a short trip....
