Excellent... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]..!

It all rings true for me, who went to School in the 1930's and 1940's...;)...!

Everything was sorted out in double-quick time, in those days...

...and nobody was hurt in the process... :)...!

Paul... 8-)...!

The occasional visit to the Headmaster's Study, and the effects of his trusty Cane made a big impression on my mind...
...and my Fingers*.....at the time!... :o...!

...never did me any harm tho'...;)...!

* ...(Arse whopping with a strap, etc, was abandoned in Victorian times).

This would be funny if most of it wasn't true.

It was obviously compiled by an American. In this country Jack the quail hunter would have been arrested for driving a stolen vehicle without a licence & carrying a firearm in the car. Minimum driving age in the UK was & still is 17. He wouldn't have been able to afford a car anyway. His Dad probably wouldn't have had one either & most of the teachers had bicycles. Not sure I understand why Mark would be sharing aspirin with anyone, never mind the Principal. What's this about a smoking dock? Smoking was punishable by expulsion at my school. Fortunately I never got caught.

I was at school in 1957 & we were caned on the arse. Six of the best if you don't mind. (Well I wasn't. I just managed to escape this awful fate several times by the skin of my teeth. :o) Those unfortunates that suffered this punishment wouldn't have been able to sit down for at least the rest of the day. If I remember correctly caning on the hands was not allowed.

Hell, back in the 60's, I was in wood shop and we had to make the paddles for the principal. It felt really weird to sit there and "custom" fit a paddle for the grip of a particular principal or vice-principal. Sort of like custom fitting a baseball bat, so we called them ass bats..... ;)

Funny part was, they looked allot like a cricket bat and the principal swung it like a one....lmao

:)

Warning: Do Not Google "Spanking Paddles" ....rotflmao..... :o

OMG, the crap that you get is beyond belief! I never consider spanking a kink...:-[.....No wonder the sickos wanted it removed for schools.... ::)

I just wanted to find a picture of one similar to the one we made to show the younger folks....lmao.

The fight one ends with suspension for both not expolsion but yeah the hand shake is better......

my favorite is the last one

but the trauma in the first one...... thats fairly true like when I was on vacation this year all my grandad watches is Fox News and they had a story about the scared strait program and told a class 4 of their friends who where participating that they where killed in a car accident... eventually they where told they where fine and this brought up a lawsuit question if students where allowed to sue for emotiomal trauma (whitch the two bloodsucking lawyers said legaly yes thye could even though the whole event lasted 1 hour before they told them there classmates where fine)

:P

Show us the modern spanking paddle or the older one? I haven't seen the latter  ;)

Very good. It does seem so true (if only from the '07 perspective). We keep getting a fair few police staff walking around our school and in the past month about 5 people from my year alone have been arrested (either for in school or outside of school incidents) relating to violence.

Blasted Crewe and Nantwich borough of chavs  :P

Luckily I can hide inside or run out of school as I am a prefect  :D (Though it is fun just telling the youngies to just go away and lock the doors on them)

Romulus if you moved to the UK you'd have to join the Conservative Party and hand over a LOT of money for the spanking paddle experience ;D ;D ;D

Not sure I understand why Mark would be sharing aspirin with anyone, never mind the Principal.
Swap the roles and ask Mark the teacher (Ozzy) if he ever had cause for headache alleviation. Parents didn't usually keep children home with a cold or with the onset of flu. There was the time a teacher (in some places, a school nurse) could administer aspirin to a student, also.

What's this about a smoking dock? Smoking was punishable by expulsion at my school.
Students weren't allowed to smoke but teachers and other school employess were given designated areas (sometimes an outside dock) to smoke at least as late as the 1980s (depending upon geographical locale).

The exact same thing entered my mind about 5 seconds into reading it.
Sheesh, I got the paddle a few times and I didn't turn out any worse from it. ::)

You don't need to tell me what it was like. I was at school at the time. I would have been 14 in 1957. :P

The way it's written Mark the pupil is sharing the aspirin with the Principal. It also implies that they were both smoking. That's what I don't understand.

That pic doesn't show the thickness of those paddles. Never seen one myself. A wooden ruler rapped across the knuckles would probably be just as effective. I reckon the good old-fashioned cane takes some beating. (Awful pun intended. :P) Check this out. http://www.archivist.f2s.com/cpa/tv-fiilm/whacko/whacko.htm
