Ah the good old days

"I can remember so clearly the grocery store in my neighborhood, it was called the green grocer, why you could walk in and get a cucumber this long and this thick for five cents" the first old lady said as she demonstrated the size of the cucumber with her hands.
"Oh yes! today's grocery stores are nothing compared to the markets we had when we were young, i recall my grocery store sold onions this big, you could get two of them for 10 cents!" the second old lady said as she demonstrated the size of the massive onions with her hands
The third old lady - deaf as a stump butted in.....
"Ladies im sorry i cant hear a word your saying, but i remember the man your talking about with much affection."
