Overheard at a jazz club (by one of my friends)

Woman:  "You like soul food?"
Man:  "I'm a Nihilist"

Soul Food=Music or something else that is "good for the soul", according to beetniks (such as good jazz).

Nihilist=someone who believes they do not have a soul and do not believe in any religion.

Soul food does not refer to your soul, as defined by religions necessarily.  Its kinda hard to explain, just find yourself a beetnik bar and see for yourself

Duck!! -- you really ruptured that!

Although 'soul food' was originally a term applied to low-cost foods from the southern U.S., there is also a term 'food for the soul'. A nihilist would, therefore, have no soul to feed, thus no craving for soul food.

As I explained, which wasn't contradicting you; the problem was that one could lose their soul just trying to decipher your post.
