A USAF instructor yelling at his foreign student to turn the heat off, but the student doesn't quite get it...

I'm afraid that doesn't give me a lot of confidence in the instructor. Seems like a typical case of "If Johnny Foreigner doesn't understand what you're saying then simply repeat it louder until he does." Us Brits are experts at that. We've had lots of practice.
