Here is a photo of absolutely nothing

and below is a post of absolutly nothing

And above is a post of absolutely nothing..

And below this post lies an empty space.

If it was of absolutely nothing then there would be nothing there. But there is something there even if it's just blackness. Nothing is not nothing if it is something and if it can be seen then it's something and therefore not nothing.

actually though, that said...surrelly it must be 'an absense of light', because the screen can't be emitting black light can it??

Makes as much sense as military manuals. In the back of every one I've ever seen are blank pages with the following brilliant statement- "This page left blank intentionally". A, Dah, by virtue of the writing, the page is no longer blank.....

Yes. But you shouldn't be able to see the absence of light if there was nothing there. It is impossible to either see or even visualise nothing because it is quite simply, nothing.

EDIT: I dunno, i've read this over and over again and i don't really get what you are saying?
When there is an absense of light you see black, or in real terms your mind displays the 'info' its recieving as black? Your not visualizing anything?

Simple... basically if the post box remained empty than you'd see nothing... But now there is an anomaly in the bost box which you can see... so even if it's just a black box.. it is something and you can see it.. so it aint nothing!
