There were five people on a plane. The Pilot, a school teacher, a college student, a solider, and a genius.  There were only four parachutes and the pilot said " i have to jump to i can keep flying" so he jumps. The school teacher said "I have to get back so i can teach my children" so she jumps.
Next the genius says "im smart so i must live to pass on my knowledge. He jumps. Only one parachute left. The soilder says " you jump, it is my destiny to die", but the student says "no we will both jump." "What do you mean?" says the soilder. "Well, the genius didn't grab a parachute, he grabbed my backpack." "Some genius" says the soilder.

LOL! Seems so typical!

Variations of this have been circulating for years, but this one is particularly funny  ;D
