You know you are a flight sim fanatic if you do these things.


1.When you speed up on the freeway, you pull back on the steering wheel, hoping that you will break ground sooner or later

2. While on a flight, you pray for something to happen to the flight crew so you can go and save the day

3. When you turn the last street to your home, you call that as final approach

4. As you are about to leave for work, or school, you think of pre-flight procedures for your favorite plane

5.Your Hard Drive is filled to the very last MB with FS addons.

6.You are watching tv and (wait, you should be playing FS!) you recongize a certain location only because youve flown there. Not to mention you could recite the flight plan there.

7. If you have a sister who wants to play a game thats based in Paris, you make her wait until you fly them there from your local airport. That way everyone gets to play.

You use Walk and Follow to walk around the "cabin"

You study the clouds, atmospheric pressure, air temperature, humidity, and wind direction, to check if it's safe to get the car out of the garage to drive to work.... ...!

#14 - When you are the last one off the plane, you talk to the pilots about the flight and ask for a copy of the flightplan.

#15 - when you can't wait to talk to the pilots about flying, and you tell them you fly on FS.

When the wife say's."I'm gonna do a sandwich, do you want one"...and you press the talk button on Teamspeak to answer her !!!!!!

And my worst habit....always answering with 'Roger' instead of ok, etc !!!!!!

16.  When on a comarcial flight, you bring a laptop and fly the plane in the sim as the pilots are flying it in the plane.

#17 When you have spent more on payware in the last six months then you have on your cabel bill.

#18 When you print off your PPL from MSFS and keep a copy in your wallet with you.

#19 When you try to rent a aircraft with said MFSF printout.

#20 When you have been on the forum for 36+ houres at a time and can / have proove(ed) it.

#21 When flying a MP session sounds better than sex.

#22 When you have a countdown somewhere to the launch date of FSX.

#23 When you actually bought the Gamespot membership to get an unlimited download rate of the FSX demo, which it turns out dosn't run on your current GPU.

#24 You run down to comp USA to buy the best CPU and GPU that you can afford, and your motherboard will accept. However in the store you realise that you have no idea what you need, just a motherboard model #. So you put of a post on the hardware fourm. Again this is all to play a DEMO! of a GAME!

#25 You refer to the 5000 mile oil change as the "500 hour overhaul."

#26 You have a second harddrive devoted to FS.

#27 You are capable of landing any aircraft, at any location, in just about any weathar, on centreline, on the numbers.
