#1. Parking in front of a fire hydrant is illegal as is obstructing a fire fighter in the performance of his duty.  ::)

#2. I would assume that the reason they hooked up the fire hose was to fight a fire. I don't think they had time to wait for a towing service to show up to remove the car. It is also not the responsibility of the fire department to remove cars that are blocking hydrants. It is their responsibility to fight fires and save lives. ::)

#3. Judging by the size of the yellow hose, they were filling a tanker truck and it is limited by it size as to how it can be run and attached to the hydrant. The brown hose is a normal fire fighting hose and it is run around the parked cars.  ;)

#4. It would take a complete idiot to block a fire hydrant.  :o

#5. How would you feel if your home burnt flat because the fireman couldn't get to the fire hydrant because it was blocked by a illegally parked car?

;D

Excuse me while I applaud.... ;D

I hope they "accidentally" filled the car with water while they were at it.

Why slash his tyres when they've got hydraulic cutting gear? They could have made a lovely BMW jigsaw ;D

LMAO....now that would have been funny! I can just imagine the look on the persons face when they returned to their car and saw the roof peeled back or removed all together. Or to find their car sitting on the other side of the hydrant in small pieces.... ;D

We don't have those here. They are underground. Dunno if it is illegal to park in front of one here either. Probably is, but I'm not sure.

The parking fines vary here in the US, but the average cost is between $25.00 - $50.00 USD. Plus the tow away fee that can be $100.00 + depending on the city. Plus the impound fees and storage fees which can be several hundred dollars. Plus this bad boy had to have his rear passenger windows replaced. So I imagine his decision to park there probably set him back a good grand.  :o

I bet he/she never parked in front of a hydrant again.... ;D
