Strange Questions

I wasn't sure where to post my inquiries on these but, since they seem a bit bizzare to me and they concern locations I'm not entirely familiar with, I'll try here.

1. Can you British please inform me if there is actually a law in Birmingham, England, stating that it is illegal to have sexual intercourse on church steps after sunset? If so, why is it legal in broad daylight?

2. Can someone tell me if this is an actual law in Hong Kong and how often it has been successfully commited: a woman may kill her unfaithful husband only with her bare hands; she may kill his mistress any way she deems fit.

For now, I'll forego any other questions of law until another time.

When reading stupid laws one must keep in mind this simple phrase "If they made it, someone must have done it."  ;D ;D

Certainly if someone was dumb enough to make the law so dumb it is what an idiot would keep, there must a dozen dumb enough to carry it out.

EDIT: With regards to the first one - English law is made up from local byelaws (these can be dumb sometimes), acts of parliament and case law. So if someone did such an act then the judge may state in the case his ratio decidendi which is the binding precedent of law that other judges must follow and is a phrase that is legally binding. Judges have to be careful here, so he may have been very precise to allow room for future movement. ;) It would appear a little odd that sunset is mentioned at all or the need for the law as amongst several acts of parliament there is one in which it is illegal to "expose one's person on a public highway". Certainly if there is any chance of it being true it was not made by an act of parliament.
