I've seen it before and if I remember rightly it is a First Choice 757. ;)

I'd be pretty scared in #2 if I saw that aircraft hurtling towards me! :D

That second one is actually the scene you get to see in the South of Sudan...I flew into the Darfur region in an IL-76 and then drove to Nyala with my uncle...and there are many dirt strips down there...and many AN-12's take of like this...all upto the pilot whether or not to run them over ;D

Sorry to bring this post back up...the first pic shows an AirTran A320 with it's engine cowling missing...the flight was from Atlanta to Los Angeles when this incident occured... ;)
