The origin of yodelling

Sorry, don't know if this has been posted before
There once was a hiker who became lost hopelessly in the woods. He stumbled around and came upon a farm house. Knowing that he needed the shelter to survive, he knocked on its door and out came a farmer, in his 40's. He said the hiker could stay in his house, but he would kill him if he touched his young daughter. Hours into the night, the farmer's daughter came into the guest's room, and they had a night. The farmer found out, and took the hiker to a nearby cliff and threw him off. As he was falling to his death, the hiker screamed " Yodel-ay- ee- hooo! got your old lady tooooooo!", and yodelling was born
