Actually there are quite a number of the A-mish who use phones, primarily cell-phones, and mainly for work related purposes, but it is becoming more and more of a presence in the amish society.

(we just had a big discussion about this in our cultural dynamics of technology class...if I can find the reading assignment I will post the link...it's very interesting...)
