I don't know...

I think some topics cannot be made into the subject of a joke. I don't find Hitler to be funny, I don't think there's anything funny about his actions either. Is it really appropriate for this forum? should we sit back and laugh because he's dancing? 60 years after the horors of WWII, I don't believe we can allow ourselves to "soften up" about what happened, and reduce a murderer and a tyrant to a dancing clown. :(

1:I do not think this was  being a joke on what happened 60 years ago at all.just a poking a little fun on a sad  human being. You are taking it a little personal I think.
2: why don't you  become a member and show who you are . or if you already are a member  come forward.. also, I think you need to become moderator to say things like

Actually there is a funny side to this.

If something happened 60 years ago then I think that we can laugh at it now. If something dreadful happened yesterday then now is not the times to laugh about it.

The fact is, jokes about Bin Ladin and Saddam Hussein have been springing up for ages and they are not from 60 years ago yet you still find the jokes funny. And when you look at it was Saddam any worse than Hitler?

To end this small rant I must say that you americans need to reasses your sense of humor cause it seems totally screwed up. :P :-/

well, I am a member, just a bit too lazy to log in (erased my cookies yesterday) you may know me as IAFpilot03. anywaay...
if by "taking it personally" you mean finding a joke about what happened to my family 60 years ago a little inappropriate, then you're damn right, I am taking it personally. By making hitler dance in a little Gif image you're disconnecting him from his past, and who he trully is.

and woodlouse, I don't think something that happened that long ago can be laughed at, now is not the time, and I doubt there ever will be a time to laugh at such matters. I personally don't find the attack on the WTC to be "funny", so what if there are jokes about it? does it mean we should laugh? BTW, if you opened up a history book every once in a while you'd see that Sadaam and bin laden have nothing in common with hitler. Sadaam never seeked to destroy a culture, rather a religious faction who had a different view on Islam. Ben Laden wants to destroy anyone who's not muslim, but he hadn't really succeded yet.

And I don't think I need to be a moderator to ask you not to post such threads, I need to be a moderator in order to remove such threads.

Its turning into something awful now.. Lets all let it go....I am truly sorry for what your family went through. but if everyone reacted to things that hit them about something that was hurtful in life on here , there would be alot of problems on here.. no one was trying to do that here.. it was a silly picture. nothing more.. lets move on now shall we........... ;D
