the knesset (parliament) is trying to pass a new (and deadly) economic plan in an attempt to heal the economy. the opposition, trying to delay the passing of the plan have come up with 10,000 dissociations, which have to be voted on one by one.
for example, it seems some members don't like the words 'lettuce', 'peas', 'watermelon','eggplant','melon', 'asparagus', 'tomato', 'sweet potato' and want them removed from the text.
members of the knesset have also come up with new names for the proposal (which of course must be discussed as well)
those include:
"the getting rid of the middle class proposal"
"the poor supporting the rich proposal"
and "the widening of the socio-economic gap proposal"
