Why did the chicken cross the road?

Just so that we could make up a bunch of stupid jokes, starting with "Why did the chicken cross the road?" and give really stupid reasons why!

well.....
this road is the boarder line between 2 countries, and during the war the chicken was walkin down this road and decided to defect and join the other country, so hence, it had to cross the road.........
