Engine Trouble

A 747 was having engine trouble, and the pilot instructed the cabin crew to have the passengers take their seats and get prepared for an emergency landing. A couple minutes later, the pilot asked the flight attendants if everyone was buckled in and ready. "All set back here, Captain," came the reply, "except the lawyers are still going around passing out business cards."

Cheers
Rich

That was a good one. The three boys from Dewey, Cheatham and Howe, perhaps?

I read up on a British Airways 747 "Speedbird 9", which flew into undetected ash cloud over Indonesia in 1980. Scary biz, no doubt its passengers legally ministered to by the Law Firm of Tortz, Tartz and Torque.

It still amazes me convincingly that the propeller is the pilot's personal cooling fan: the proof is how much he sweats when it stops.
