Duct tape works great for many things... and its alleged failures are questionable:
When they ran out of seats on a small two-engine jet, two more boarded with guns insisting on being passengers.
An attendant informed, "Look, you don't want this plane. The passengers we have are facing very cold flight temperatures -- our heating system isn't working."
The two were persistent but also insisted they have the warmest place on the plane.
Well, we won't bore you with the specifics of the turn of events but, you know (we'll tell you anyway), those two pulled a Cooper...
By all accounts, both of them were on the plane at take-off; yet, there hadn't been any indication of extra weight from the time the plane lifted off and only some burnt pieces of duct tape on the engine exhausts were found when the plane landed...
The world is full of mysteries.
