I was fortunate enough to be able to do just that. Started in Cubs in 1957, later taught in Cubs for many, many hours; eventually wound up flying B-727, DC-9 & DC-8 for Eastern Air Lines; moved over to corporate helicopter flying for the last 23 years of my career. Very lucky, indeed.
