Thinking back, I can recall only being in that inebriated state twice in my life...
....
Once in the British Army, on the night I was Demobbed in 1957....
...and at a family party some 40 years ago, the full details of which still remain a distant blur in my memory.
Both instances never to be repeated again.....
....ever!....
