I still don't know why the "English" don't understand this but Scotland took over the empire in 1603. You're not English, you're Scottish.

King James VI and I

James VI and I (19 June 1566 – 27 March 1625) was King of Scotland as James VI from 24 July 1567 and King of England and Ireland as James I from the union of the Scottish and English crowns on 24 March 1603 until his death. My mothers family were Scott's i think as her maiden name was Shorey And my Father English. My father told me that I had a relative that served on Lord Nelsons ship. He was given a burial plot in the city of Belleville Ontario for his service to the Royal Navy, so far as I know he is still there in the same plot. Some time I am there I will have to go and check it out as I have a fairly good idea where it is. Had not thought of that in a long time untill I read your post. Thanks for the reminder, got me thinking.

Keep smiling
