24 Hours? Humm..

... I was up at the local wawa the other morning bout 3:30am and this young man who worked there came out to our little tail-gate talk
session we had going on and he said something that made me think for a second or two.

He said "Every person in the world has two days in their life that isn't 24 hours" Like I said, it took me and a couple of the other
guys a couple seconds!

OOOH YEAH!!.. I never thought about that!

Death is less than one day.

What about one born/dying right on the stroke of midnight, as unlikley as it may seem? At birth, does it matter that they're not all there or which end emerges first and how much?

This leads to the question of when does life begin.... allow me to help

A Catholic priest, a Protestant minister, and a Jewish rabbi were discussing when life begins.

"Life begins," said the priest, "at the moment of fertilization. That is when God instills the spark of life into the fetus."

"We believe," said the minister, "that life begins at birth, because that is when the baby becomes an individual and is capable of making its own decisions and must learn about sin."

"You're both wrong," said the rabbi. "Life begins when the children have graduated from college and moved out of the house."

But from the experience of 3 of my grown-up children with their own brood....it rarely works....

...they always come back home again when in trouble/difficulties/etc.... ...!

I have filled up all my spare bedrooms with "stuff" now, to prevent it happening to me!

Married in 78 and still going strong.

.....you're right about the kids though, they do keep coming back.

As for time (24 hrs or a year).....well I find it's not constant. A year to a teenager is an eternity but for me they seem to slip by in no time at all.
